Every unit has a built-in 110-240VAC power supply and uses true power cascading, so only the bottom cylinder needs mains power; the rest draw current through the stack. Signal uses ultra-reliable WS2818 chips (1-to-n backup if one LED fails, the rest keep working) and 3-pin waterproof connectors (with optional RJ45 adapter). This means a 10-meter tower needs just one AC cable and one data line at the base.
