DMX Controller

A DMX controller, or Digital Multiplex controller, is a device used to manage and control lighting fixtures in a lighting system. It communicates with the fixtures using the DMX protocol, sending digital signals over DMX cables. The controller allows users to program and adjust parameters such as intensity, color, movement, and timing for individual fixtures or groups of fixtures. DMX controllers can range from simple handheld units to advanced computerized lighting consoles with sophisticated programming capabilities. They provide a centralized interface for lighting designers and technicians to create complex lighting scenes, cues, and effects. DMX controllers are commonly used in theatre productions, concerts, architectural lighting, and other applications where precise control over lighting is required to enhance the visual experience.
